Update from the Hoffman’s: Yvette Hoffman released from the hospital

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — Just five days after being shot at her home in Champlin, Yvette Hoffman is set to be released from the hospital.

She is the wife of Minnesota Senator John Hoffman.

The Hoffman’s released an update on their conditions. John is still in critical, but stable condition and Yvette is in stable condition.

The couple was shot early last Saturday morning.

John was shot nine games, while Yvette was shot eight times while trying to stop the shooter.

The suspect, 57-year-old Vance Boelter, is facing state and federal charges.
