FARGO, N.D. – We’re nearing the end of Pride Month, and a local art space decided to host a fair celebrating queer creators in the area.

Parachigo held the “Big Gay Art Fair” on Saturday the 21st.

The event got underway at 3 P.M. and featured 18 different vendors showcasing their original creations.

Event staff said the event had a little more significance given some of the current attitudes in the country.

“Fargo has so many talented artists,” said executive director Anj Karna. “I’m just hoping people will realize how many of them are gay and in this location today.”
