UPDATE: Multiple Fargo Police Officers detain man in Downtown Fargo

Multiple officers arrived on scene outside the Salvation Army with lights and sirens on

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Multiple Fargo Police Officers detained a man in downtown Fargo following a call for a physical altercation.

Witnesses say the officers arrived on the scene with their lights and sirens on before detaining, with the help of security, a man outside the Salvation Army on Roberts Street.

According to Fargo Police, the victim left the scene prior to officers making contact.

In video obtained by KVRR, officers can be seen searching the man before placing him in the back of a squad car.

The individual involved was taken to detox by FPD officers.
