Family members injured, one killed in house fire in Fosston, Minnesota

FOSSTON, Minn. (KVRR) – One person is dead following a house fire in Fosston Wednesday morning.

At around 4:30 a.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house fire 718 1st St. E.

The home was engulfed in flames. When firefighters arrived one person was still inside the house.

Other people inside the home were able to get out.  According to a GoFundMe, the people inside were Zach Haugen and his three young girls.

Zach and two of the girls were life-flighted to hospitals. It’s not known where.

The Minnesota Fire Marshal’s office will investigate the cause.
