Using SNAP benefits at Farmers Markets in North Dakota
BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — As the season of farmers markets kick in, North Dakota is among many states that has added an easier way for people to use SNAP benefits.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced on Friday an added interactive feature to the Local Foods Directory Map online.
Users may now access the website to look for farmers markets with access to SNAP benefits.
The interactive map will include a yellow star for each location that has the benefit.
Currently, the state has 12 locations that accept SNAP benefits.
