West Fargo Police respond to foot pursuit

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — West Fargo Police were led on a foot pursuit after attempting to stop a bicyclist for a traffic violations.

Just before 10 PM Friday, police attempted the traffic stop in the 800 block of 7th Ave. E. After making contact with law enforcement the suspect fled west and was apprehended roughly two blocks later.

The suspect, Jeffrey Roy Higdem, a 41-year-old man with no permanent address, was arrested for felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing a peace officer on foot.
