Update: West Fargo Police ask for help locating assault suspect
Police blocked off an area near the post office and 4th Street East.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – UPDATE: West Fargo Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in an assault that took place around 4 A.M. near the West Fargo Post Office.
They are asking that members of the public review security camera footage from 2 to 5 A.M. in the areas of I-94 to Main Avenue and 45th Street to Sheyenne Street for a hispanic male wearing all black clothing, possibly with a goatee or mustache.

On Wednesday morning, police blocked off an area near the post office and 4th Street East.
“The West Fargo Police Department is actively working on an assault near the Post Office,” according to public information manager Addie Stewart.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
