West Fargo Police arrest suspect using Flock camera system

WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Police Department has arrested a man who allegedly fled police.

According to West Fargo police, they attempted to stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Seventh Ave. and Ninth Street E for a traffic violation.

Police say the driver of the vehicle fled and police followed in pursuit. Police ended the pursuit as the vehicle traveled east, towards Fargo.

Using the Flock Safety Camera System, West Fargo police say they were notified that the suspect vehicle was located in Fargo. West Fargo Police located and apprehended the suspect vehicle near the intersection of 45th St. and 13th Ave. S.

West Fargo police identify the driver as 26-year-old Travon Kestrel from Horace, North Dakota. He has been arrested for felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of methadone, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and an outstanding warrant.

No injuries were reported and the suspect vehicle was impounded.
