Red River Valley Fair to Close Early due to Severe Weather
The event will shut down at 5:00 tonight.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Red River Valley Fair Management Team, has issued an official announcement stating that the fair will end early on July 4.
Authorities say this decision comes after closely monitoring the weather forecast, which indicates that potentially severe weather conditions could impact the area later in the day. As such, the fair will suspend operations at 5:00 P.M.
Red River Valley Fair CEO Cody Cashman apologized for the cancellation, saying that they cannot control the weather, but that July 5th’s entertainment would be even bigger and better as a result.
Tickets for the demolition derby will still be valid for tomorrow’s show.
