Man Arrested After Pursuit in West Fargo

The West Fargo Police Department says the man tried to flee after he had stopped and spoke with officers for a period of time.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The West Fargo Police Department has arrested a suspect following a vehicle and foot pursuit.

At approximately 12:12 a.m. Friday, July 11, the West Fargo Police Department approached a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of 16th Street E.

The driver of the vehicle fled after speaking with law enforcement for several minutes and the pursuit began.

The suspect fled northbound on 17th Street E. where a PIT maneuever was successfully executed near the 1100 block. The suspect then fled on foot and was quickly apprehended by officers.

The driver, Brian Allen Mondor, a 48-year-old male from Fargo, North Dakota, was arrested for felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, refusal to halt, carrying a concealed weapon, providing false information to law enforcement, driving under suspension, fictitious registration, and several outstanding warrants.
