‘Summer Splash’ Draws Crowds to The Lights
The water-based event saw strong turnout even under cloudy skies.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Lights in West Fargo turned into a water wonderland for the Summer Splash.
The event kicked off at 1 and ran until 3 P.M.
It featured inflatable waterslides, obstacle courses, a bubble station, and so much more.
Event planners say that having the Lights as a venue allows them to offer a wide range of activities – and that the community support is always strong.
“It’s a blank canvas, so we can do pretty much whatever we want with it, it just comes down to how creative can we get,” said Nick Bucklin, marketing and operations assistant.
He went on to say, “That just shows how great our community is here in West Fargo. Just love the turnout, we always get great support, and we just love being a part of it.”
The next big child-friendly event at the lights is Kidchella, taking place the first Saturday in August.
