Child home from hospital after near-drowning in Oxbow

OXBOW, N.D. (KVRR) — A child is home after being rescued from nearly drowning at a home in Oxbow Sunday.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office says they were called just after 5:30 p.m. yesterday to a pediatric near-drowning at a residential address.

As deputies arrived on-scene, the patient had been loaded into Sanford AirMed and was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The child has been discharged from the hospital and Cass County Sheriff’s Office has been working with the family to understand what happened.
