Red River Valley Renaissance Faire Closes First Weekend, Looks to Second
The faire got off to a strong start on Saturday, with sunny skies and large crowds.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The first weekend of Red River Renaissance Faire is in the books.
The event is filled with jousting, live music, crafts, delicious food and drink and so much more!
Faire staff said turnout was good both days, and that the wide variety of acts kept festival-goers entertained.
They say that the faire offers a special brand of escapism that you just can’t quite get anywhere else.
“I love seeing people come dressed up, I think it’s so fun to see people join us in the revelry and the magic of the Renaissance Faire period,” said Julie Ly. “It’s fun to see people kind of be themselves, and live somewhere outside of their normal lives for a day, and just enjoy a good show.”
The fair is back in action next Saturday and Sunday in West Fargo.
