FARGO (KVRR) – Police say a man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed early Monday in Fargo.

Police were called to the 1300-block of 32nd St. S. at 12:41 a.m. Officers located a man who reported he had been stabbed in an apartment.

The man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police determined that the suspect, who was known to the victim, fled into another apartment down the hall.

Officers repeatedly ordered the suspect to exit the apartment, but the suspect would not comply. Due to the evolving situation, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was requested to safely apprehend the suspect.

At about 5:15 a.m., the Red River Valley SWAT Team used a diversionary device and entered the apartment to execute an arrest warrant for the suspect, identified as Boimein Dahn.

Dahn, a 33-year-old Fargo resident, was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Cass County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Preventing Arrest, as well as outstanding warrants, including Aggravated Assault out of Hennepin County.
