Fargo man sentenced for shooting at his brother last October in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A Fargo man who was convicted in May of shooting at his brother in Moorhead is sentenced to nearly 16 years in prison.

Francis Ochiti was convicted of attempted murder in the October 19, 2024 shooting incident.

Ochiti shot at his brother through the window of a home in the 3600 block of 39th Street South in Moorhead.

His brother was not hurt.

Ochiti was arrested days later by Metro Street Crimes Unit and Fargo Police.

A handgun was found while the search warrant was being carried out.
