Three Injured in Crash Involving Mayville State Golf Team
It was a two-car crash, with both drivers being injured as well as one golf team member who was a passenger.

BURLEIGH COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) – Three people were taken to the hospital with injuries following a collision on the interstate between a Ford F-150 and a Chevrolet Express Van carrying members of the Mayville State University Golf Team.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash occurred at about 5:45 P.M. on August 29. The van was traveling eastbound in the left lane of I-94. The driver of the Ford F150 attempted to make a turn-around on the interstate using a
crossover in the median. It then entered the path of the van and was struck on the driver’s side.
The driver of the van, a 54-year-old woman from Mayville, and the driver of the Ford, a 94-year-0ld from Linton, were both injured and transported to CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck for treatment. The van contained 6 members of the Mayville State team – only one was injured enough to require treatment at the hospital.
Eastbound I-94 traffic was reduced to one lane for approximately one hour while the crash was investigated and cleared.
