Woman flown to Fargo hospital after alleged domestic assault
New York Mills, Minn. (KVRR) — A woman is in stable condition after being flown to a Fargo hospital following what Otter Tail Couny Sheriff’s Office says was a domestic assault.
Just after 3:30 PM on Saturday, deputies responded to a reported medical at a residence on South Main Avenue in New York Mills. On their arrival they found the victim lying on the floor with significant facial trauma, which they say was the result of an assault.
The woman was taken to Perham Health before being flown to a hospital in Fargo.
Deputies located the suspect, Justin Lemon, inside the residence and took him into custody without incident.
Lemon has been charged felony domestic assault and third degree assault.
