UPDATE: Moorhead domestic dispute and attempted burglary suspect found hiding in a vehicle’s trunk

UPDATE: A domestic disturbance and attempted burglary suspect who set off a shelter-in-place overnight in Moorhead has been caught.
In the noon hour, police were called to the 2800 block of Village Green Drive after a man was seen entering their neighbor’s vehicle.
Officers arrived and found 21-year-old Krayshawn Tyler concealed in the trunk.
He was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant.
It is believed he is involved in a domestic dispute overnight in the 2900 block of 16th Avenue South and an attempted burglary in the 1800 block of 33rd Street South.
The advisory was lifted about 3 a.m. after police determined Tyler was no longer in the immediate area.

Moorhead, Minn. (KVRR) — Moorhead Police are searching for 21-year-old Krayshawn Tyler who is a person of interest in an attempted burglary and has a warrant out for his arrest on a parole violation.
Just before 1 A.M. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2900 block of 16th Avenue South. Prior to their arrival, Tyler fled the scene on foot. A K-9 team from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist in tracking Tyler.
At 1:13 A.M. a resident in the 1800 block of 33rd Street South reported an attempted burglary, saying that a man matching Tyler’s description attempted to enter their home via the patio door, but fled when confronted by the homeowner.
Due to the search, a shelter-in-place alert was issued at 1:41 A.M. to notify residents of ongoing police activity.
The Moorhead Fire Department deployed a drone to assist in the search, and the shelter-in-place was lifted at about 3:00 A.M.
Tyler is described as an African American man, 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing roughly 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
Moorhead Police are still attempting to locate Tyler, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediatley.
