Fargo’s West Acres Fire Station back in operation

FARGO (KVRR) – Fire Station 5, also known as the West Acres Fire Station is back online once again in south Fargo.

The fire station had been closed since August, 2024.  The building had to be reconstructed due to shifting and cracks in the foundation.

The city allocated $2.5 million for the project.

While the station was closed, emergency calls were rerouted to surrounding fire stations and mutual aid was provided by the West Fargo Fire Dept.
