Roaster, ductwork catch fire at Fargo SunButter facility

FARGO (KVRR) – A roaster and ductwork caught fire Thursday morning at a SunButter facility in north Fargo.

Fargo Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says crews were called to a report of black smoke at 8:24 a.m.

Crews arrived to find smoke and fire in a roaster and ductwork/chimney. A second alarm was called to bring in extra crews.

The fire was contained and knocked down within 15 minutes. There were no injuries.

A cost estimate of the damage was not immediately available. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
