Lil’ Bitz Pumpkin Patch Opens for Season
The family endeavor promises all the traditional Fall favorites, from horse rides to a petting zoo.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Fall is here, and that means it’s time to get everybody out to the pumpkin patch.
One of the most popular patches in the area had its opening day on Saturday.
Lil’ Bitz Pumpkin Patch, located on the Hoglund family farm northwest of Fargo, began welcoming guests at 11:00 A.M.
There’s activities for the entire family, ranging from horse rides to miniature hay mazes and, of course, the petting zoo.
The patch is in the process of changing hands within the Hoglund family – and the new owners say they’re proud to carry on the family tradition.
“Family is everything, of course – it’s my family, my brother’s family, it’s my aunt and uncle,” explained Penny McLagen. “We come together and put it together. It’s quite a bit of work to get it all set up and get it going, because it’s a working farm in the offseason.”
The patch operates Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from now until October 26.
