Fargo man gets 12 years in drug overdose death last May

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo man is sentenced to 12 years in prison for the drug overdose death of another Fargo man.
26-year-old Tristin Monsebroten pleaded guilty in the death of the 25-year-old last May.
The charge was distribution of fentanyl, resulting in death.
Monesbroten was arrested after police responded to a medical assist call.
The victim was found dead in the restroom in the lower level of West Acres.
Monesbroten and the victim were known to each other.
Cass County Drug Task Force collected evidence at the scene and conducted interviews that led to his arrest.
