FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Fargo’s newest apartment complex held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to show off the transformation of the property.

BLOC, at 1621 University Drive South, is in the spot of the former strip mall that used to house the Duane’s House of Pizza location.

Duane’s has now moved into one of the commercial spaces underneath the 126 apartment units.

The complex speaks highly of its amenities, from heated underground parking to a golf simulator.

Management also said they’re considering a variety of options for the remaining commercial spaces outside of Duane’s and Pop’s Soda Shack.

“There’s a possibility for other potential food opportunities – there’s that, and other businesses that are considering spaces, so it’s a little preliminary right now,” explained Phil Abeln, President of COLLECTIVE. “But we’re excited to have this infill location right on University and right in the heart of Fargo.”

The project was a joint venture between Collective Property Management and Great States Development.

BLOC is offering two months of free rent for those who sign a 14-month lease.
