Fargo Police asking for public’s assistance finding armed robbery suspects
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — At approximately 7:25 Wednesday night, Fargo Police had responded to a call from a man who reported being shot here in the 1400 block of 1st Avenue South. 10
Two suspects fled from the scene in a small dark colored car.
When first responders arrived on scene, the victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. Those injuries were not life-threatening.
Early Thursday morning, Fargo Police released the names of two suspects, Dennis Salinas and Braden Poitra.
Both suspects have a history of misdemeanors and felonies. Most recently, a warrant was issued for both.
In late August, Salinas faces charges of fleeing police, providing false information, and driving under suspension.
Poitra was also facing charges, in early August, for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and other charges.
Salinas’s warrant had been removed by the court while the other’s case had been inactive.
Fargo Police are asking the public for help in finding the two suspects, but they urge the public not to approach either, as they are both considered armed and dangerous.
