Two Injured in Crash After Fleeing Law Enforcement
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says they were not in pursuit at the time of the crash, as the car was traveling too quickly for them to safely pursue.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Two people are injured and both could be facing criminal charges after they fled from a traffic stop and crashed into another vehicle.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says that a deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop in the 1800 block of 19th Avenue North in Fargo at around 8:45 P.M. on September 19.
The vehicle sped away at what the Office calls a “high rate of speed”, so the deputy chose not to pursue, as it was too dangerous.
Soon after fleeing the scene, the driver of the stopped vehicle crashed into another motorist’s car, which led to both automobiles suffering disabling damage.
Deputies immediately detained a 20-year-old male and the 19-year-old female, who were the occupants of the car that the deputy had tried to stop. Both individuals were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities did locate narcotics inside their vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash reported no injuries.
Multiple agencies are still investigating the incident, and criminal charges have not yet been filed.
