One seriously injured in north Moorhead crash

MOORHEAD (KVRR/KFGO) – The State Patrol says three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in north Moorhead at around 7:00 Wednesday morning. It happened at the intersection of Highway 75 and 28th Avenue North.

28-year-old Callie Folstrom of St. Paul was headed south on Highway 75 in a car. 41-year-old Tyler Kirchner of Reiles Acres was travelling northbound in an SUV and attempted to turn when the two collided. There was fog at the time of the collision.

Folstrom was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with life threatening injuries. Kirchner and a passenger were taken to Sanford Medical Center with non-life threating injuries.

Troopers were assisted by Clay County deputies, Moorhead police and fire and Sanford ambulance.
