Deli lovers celebrate for ‘Little Bodega’ in downtown Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fans of local food truck, Detroit Deli, had their first taste of the up-and-coming Little Bodega in Downtown Fargo.

On Saturday, the Little Bodega celebrated its move from a food truck to a storefront.

Like any typical bodega, it will have fresh produce, deli, cheese, and other small grocery items.

The store owner, originally from the Detroit area, aims to provide residents with access to fresh produce and grocery essentials in the downtown area.

“We’re downtown-ers and we love being downtown, we live very close. And there just really wasn’t a market grocery store down here. So, we wanted to kind of fill the gap of that. For the people who live down here and might not have a car, or just want easy access to fresh produce and groceries. We just wanted to do that for them,” said Julie Walsh, Owner of The Little Bodega

The Little Bodega will officially be open for business by the end of October.
