South Dakota Woman Flees from Highway Patrol
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the woman fled the scene of a routine traffic stop.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a South Dakota woman evaded their search efforts after fleeing a traffic stop on the evening of October 2.
According to NDHP, a trooper conducted a traffic stop on a Hyundai Sonata for a traffic violation near State Street and Interstate Avenue in Bismarck just after 11:30 P.M. The driver fled the stop in her vehicle, and the trooper did not pursue.
The driver then crashed at the curve of Boulevard Avenue and State Street and fled that scene on foot. Authorities searched the area but were unable to locate her. She was later identified as 31-year-old Whitney Bagola of Rapid City, South Dakota. Her car reportedly contained drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun.
The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
