The three-day programming schedule featured numerous celebrity appearances, gaming opportunities, and even some hands-on time with critters from the Red River Zoo.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The area’s biggest celebration of all things science fiction, fantasy, and comics and collectibles returned to the Fargo Air Museum this year.

ValleyCon was held from October 17 to 19, and featured its most jam-packed programming schedule to date.

The event has been held in some capacity since 1977 – and it was actually sold last November, so this is the first incarnation under new ownership.

They say the three-day showcase broke all previous attendance records and generated a lot of enthusiasm from the community.

“Putting together an event this big, it certainly has its challenges, but it’s well worth it,” said Tandy Moore, director of ValleyCon.

“Just seeing the look on everybody’s faces – all the joy and happiness, it’s been incredible.”

Up next in this similar vein of event is Fargo-Moorhead Comic-Con, which is scheduled for February of 2026.
