Record-setting month for North Dakota airline boardings

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — North Dakota airlines are seeing an increase in flyers.

The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission released its monthly airline passenger report for the state’s eight commercial service airports.

North Dakota airports recorded 103,559 passenger boardings, setting a new all-time high for the month of September.

That surpasses the previous record of over 98,000 set last year.

The state remains on pace to close out 2025 with its highest-ever annual passenger traffic.

Fargo’s Hector International Airport set a new September record with over 46,000 boardings, surpassing last year’s high by 3,000 flyers.
