Sioux Falls woman arrested after pursuit in West Fargo

WEST FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A Sioux Falls woman is in jail after a police pursuit in West Fargo Wednesday morning.

West Fargo Police say an officer tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 200 block of 17th Street E. around 1:45 a.m. The driver tried getting away before an officer used a Pursuit Intervention Technique to stop the vehicle.

Eve Taalak, 41, was arrested for multiple felonies, including fleeing, reckless endangerment, d-u-i and d-u-i test refusal. She also faces charges of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension.

No one was hurt during the pursuit. A passenger in Taalak’s vehicle was released. The vehicle was impounded.
