“Bras Off Broadway” Raises Money, Awareness During Breast Cancer Month
The feature presentation of the event is a fashion show with models who have custom-designed their own bras for the occasion.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A unique event near downtown Fargo has returned this year, aiming to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research.
Bras Off Broadway is taking place at Brewhalla. It’s the fourth iteration of the event.
The night begins with a social hour with silent auction items and a live DJ. That’s followed by a buffet dinner, and then, the main event: a fashion show with designers modeling their own custom-made bras, made especially for this occasion.
Event organizers say the creativity on display is always impressive, and the show also serves as a great bonding experience for attendees.
“The girls that model put a whole outfit together to go around their bra. It’s just fun,” said Chris Myrvold, the president of Pink Plaid. “Everybody thinks walking around in a bra is so scary, but it’s just such a fun community. Like, everyone is so supportive of each other. We have women of all sizes and ages.”
The event was sold-out, and organizers are hoping to raise over $100,000 to help fight breast cancer.
