FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Hector International Airport is showcasing the talent of another local artist through its latest artworks installation.

The art being featured is from Jeffrey J. Anderson and his scenes of rural life.

Anderson has been drawing what he saw since he was a child and winning art contests into adulthood.

He graduated from NDSU with a fine arts degree and worked in graphic design for forty-six years.

The paintings are made with pastels over a watercolor background on paper.

They are based off photographs taken of places along Highway 81, between Fargo and Grand Forks.

“We try to switch it up quite a bit. So last time we had photographs from international locations and this time we wanted something a little more local,” said Arts Partnership Executive Director Tania Blanich.

The art is scheduled to remain on display for the next four months. This is the eighth year of the artworks program at the airport.
