Watch: Minnesota restaurant raided by ICE and Border Patrol

HIBBING, Minn. – (KVRR/FOX21) – A Mexican restaurant in Hibbing was raided by federal agents on Wednesday.

According to officials, Hibbing police officers assisted the Lake Superior Drug Task Force with executing a warrant in town.

A FOX21 crew who happened to be on scene also witnessed multiple Enforcement and Removal Operations(ERO) agents, along with Border Patrol, participating in the raid at El Charro Mexican Bar and Grill.

According to ICE’s website, EROs ” manage all aspects of the immigration enforcement process, including the identification, arrest, detention, and removal of aliens who are subject to removal or are unlawfully present in the U.S.”

Multiple people were taken into custody from the restaurant.

Our crew was questioned on their nationality by agents while recording the incident.

FOX21 has reached out to ICE and Border Patrol for comment and have yet to hear back.
