Comet the Mini Horse Stops by Dr. James Carlson Library
Comet happily received treats and pets from attendees, while some even read to him for a little while.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The James Carlson branch of the Fargo Public Library secured an appearance from a smaller celebrity this weekend.
Comet the mini horse entertained families for about an hour on Saturday morning.
He was part of a day full of activities, where kids could read to Comet, pet him, feed him treats, and also create horse-themed crafts.
Comet’s owner, Terry Carbone, says that seeing the children’s reactions to Comet is always the highlight of the experience.
“I thought Comet did really well, all the participants, the kids did really well. They were able to give him some treats, and I think he really enjoyed that,” she said with a smile.
Comet recently turned 15 years old, and miniature horses of his breed generally live for about 30, so he has many years of entertaining still to come.
