Man arrested for attempting to rob Fargo bank

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A man is arrested after attempting to rob a downtown Fargo bank.

Fargo Police say 36-year-old Kashif Grant, who has no permanent address, went into a bank in the 400 block of Main Avenue shortly before 2:30 this afternoon.

There is a Wells Fargo located at 406 Main Avenue.

Police say he told a bank employee he was robbing them and wanted $50,000.

Grant didn’t show a weapon or make a threat. He was arrested for Attempted Felony Theft.

Grant has been arrested multiple times in the past for robbery.
