FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — School boundaries could be changing for students who attend elementary schools in north Fargo.

The Fargo Public School District says enrollment projections indicate the elementary schools on the northside will experience declining enrollment numbers in the next five years.

In October, the School Board’s Planning Committee directed administration to draft an attendance boundary change, which would be implemented in August 2026.

The boundary changes would only impact elementary schools, all secondary boundaries would remain the same. Click here to view the current boundaries, proposed changes for 2026, and the proposed boundaries for 2028 when a new elementary school is expected to be complete.

At the Fargo School Board meeting on Wednesday, board members will vote on the Boundary Change Implementation Plan. If approved, it would go into effect for the 2026-27 school year.
