Man arrested after firing gun at Cass Lake gas station

CASS LAKE, Minn. (KVRR) — A Minneapolis man is arrested after firing a gun in the parking lot of a gas station.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office says it happened after 11 a.m. Tuesday in Cass Lake.

Jose Pineda Jr., 20, was arrested after family says a dispute happened while they were traveling from the Bemidji area to the Twin Cities.

Pineda Jr. is accused of getting out of the vehicle and shooting at an adult passenger.

He is facing charges of reckless discharge of a gun, second-degree assault, and domestic assault.

A gas pump at the business was hit.

There were minor injuries reported from the dispute.
