Slick roads, speed contribute to multiple weather-related crashes
FARGO-MOORHEAD (KVRR-KFGO) – It has been a difficult travel day with snow, blowing snow and poor visibility.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol issued no travel advisories for the southeastern corner of the state with vehicles off the roads and jackknifed semis.
In west-central Minnesota, State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow reported several vehicles off the highways, especially on I-94 between Moorhead and Alexandria.
Grabow says many drivers were not were not taking conditions into account and going too fast.
