Salvation Army Serves Up Annual Thanksgiving Meal
Staff says they expect to serve over 250 people today.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Salvation Army served up their annual Thanksgiving meal today for those in need.
The organization opened its doors at 11 A.M. to begin serving a traditional spread of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and other such items.
Salvation Army staff says donations from the community and the work of its volunteers are a large part of what makes this event possible.
“We all have so much to be thankful for. We’re thankful for a benevolent God, we’re thankful for a generous community that allows us to reach out to those who are alone, who may not have a meal on this special day,” said Major Abe Tamayo. “We include them in this family, give them a place to belong and a place to be supported.”
The Salvation Army says they served over 250 Thanksgiving meals today.
