Lutsen Lodge owner charged with arson in 2024 fire

LUTSEN, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 21) — The owner of Lutsen Lodge has been charged with arson in connection with the 2024 fire.
According to court documents, Bryce Campbell, 41, is accused of intentionally starting the fire and filing a fraudulent insurance claim.
The main building of the northern Minnesota resort burned down on Feb. 6, 2024.
Local, state and federal officials have been working diligently since to find out what happened.
Campbell is being charged with three counts of first-degree arson and one count of insurance fraud.
The official announcement is expected this afternoon.
