Officer, suspect struck in Superior, Wisconsin shootout

SUPERIOR, Wis. (KVRR/FOX 9) — In Superior, Wisconsin, a shootout between an officer and a suspect who then crashed into a school.
Police responded to a domestic dispute after 2:30 in the morning.
Officers stopped a vehicle driving they believed was connection to the incident.
The driver got out of the vehicle and fired a semi-automatic rifle at police, hitting an officer and a squad car.
Two officers shot back and hit the suspect.
The suspect drove away and crashed into the school where police were able to arrest them.
Both the officer and suspect were treated at a hospital and released.
