Woman fails to stop at Pembina Port of Entry, starting pursuit south on I-29

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A woman from Canada leads authorities on a pursuit after failing to stop at the Pembina Port of Entry.
The U.S. Border Patrol requested assistance after a vehicle continued south on I-29.
Troopers deployed tire deflation devices near Grand Forks, resulting in damage to the suspect vehicle’s tires.
During the incident, the suspect vehicle crossed the median and briefly traveled north in the southbound lanes of I-29, creating a significant risk to others drivers.
The woman from Ontario was taken into custody by NDHP without further incident and is being charged under North Dakota state law for fleeing and reckless endangerment.
