West Fargo officer arrested for DUI over the weekend
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo police officer is arrested for DUI and now an internal investigation is underway.
The department says 23-year-old Officer Luke Schany was arrested during the early Sunday morning by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office after responding toa single-vehicle accident.
The report says the vehicle had veered off the road and slid into a ditch.
Schany started with the West Fargo Police Department as a Community Service Officer in 2022 and began working as a Patrol Officer in 2024.
He will be placed on paid administrative leave during the internal investigation.
