Dehydrator Fire Extinguished in Grand Forks
The Grand Forks Fire Department says they were able to put out the fire before it damaged the overall commercial structure.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – The Grand Forks Fire Department says a potential commerical structure fire was contained before it caused any significant damage to the building.
The fire broke out just before 1:00 P.M. on December 12 at 2250 Mill Road. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw heavy smoke in the processing area of the building.
The source of the fire was determined to be a large dehydrator. That blaze was quickly extinguished. The structure itself was not damaged.
Crews ventilated the building of smoke and then departed. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
