Red River SWAT Helps Arrest Fargo Man After Domestic Violence Incident

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A Fargo man is in custody after a domestic violence incident at his residence in northwest Fargo, a few blocks from Madison-Unicorn Park.

The Fargo Police Department says they responded to a report of domestic violence in the 2700 block of 10th Avenue North just after 1:00 A.M. on December 13.

Once they assessed the situation, they attempted to arrest 28-year-old Ethan Erickson. He refused to exit the building. The Red River SWAT team was then activated, and Erickson was arrested without incident.

Erickson is in custody at the Cass County Jail. He’s been charged with terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, and domestic violence.

His victim suffered some minor injuries but declined additional medical attention.
