Sanford Family Birth Center celebrates Christmas by dressing newborns for the holiday

Newborn babies at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo got a chance to take part in their first holiday season by being the most adorable stocking stuffers!

Nurses at Sanford Family Birth Center dressed up the bundles of holiday joy, with the permission of the parents of course.

Parents looked on as the babies slept, cozy in their stockings, and in one case a Santa suit.

Sanford staff says the holiday event is a way to spread joy to those spending time at the hospital during the holidays.

“It’s so much fun. It’s so fun,” said Sanford Family Birth Center Director Jackee Haak. “Actually, one of the families when we asked if they’d be willing to participate, they were so excited because they’re like, ‘We’ve never been able to participate before. Our kids were always born around that.’ So they were pretty excited.”

Once Christmas is over, they will be letting us know when they have their first baby of the new year.
