Man arrested for armed robbery in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man is arrested for armed robbery after attempting to rob a business Saturday before noon.

Police say staff called at 11:35 a.m. saying a man showing a pistol robbed them and took off running.

It happened in the 2400 block of University Drive.

After investigating, police arrested 60-year-old Timothy Hampton who was staying at a hotel in the 1300 block of 21st Avenue South.

Hampton was arrested for Felony Robbery with a Firearm and is at the Cass County Jail.
