Fargo Public Library invited kids to let their creativity run wild with Legos

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Over sixty kids submitted a LEGO masterpiece for the Fargo Public Library’s annual LEGO Mania Design Contest.
The contest has been running for over fifteen years, inviting kids ages twelve and younger to submit an original LEGO creation.
Many of the submitted designs ranged from a zoo and animals to the Avengers.
The creations were judged by several Lego enthusiasts on their creativity and design.
“Mostly everybody loves LEGO’s, so who doesn’t want to build something and then bring it and show it off. So it’s a great place to do that, and then it’s also the library. So it’s a great place for them to come and to find out what kind of resources we have here and have a little fun at the same time,” said Cindy Liudahl, Children’s Librarian at Fargo Public Library.
The Fargo Public Library will finish off their holiday break events with a Bluey Noon Year’s Eve Party on Wednesday.
The event begins at 10 am at the downtown Main Library.
