Fargo Man Makes Threats Towards Local Hotel, Arrested by Red River SWAT Team
Authorities say 45-year-old Luther Brewington made multiple threats towards the hotel and the guests inside.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A Fargo man is in custody after making threats authorities deemed credible due to his criminal history.
Officials say that calls regarding the behavior of 45-year-old Luther Brewington began to pour in just before 10:00 P.M. on January 2. Brewington was allegedly making threats regarding a local hotel and the people inside.
Police officers later located Brewington at his home on Fiechtner Drive South, where he refused to exit the residence and speak with authorities. The Red River SWAT team was called in and subsequently deployed several flash-sound devices. Brewington then surrendered to the officers at about 2:45 A.M. on January 3.
He is being held at the Cass County Jail, facing charges of terrorizing, preventing arrest, and harassment of 911. He also had an outstanding warrant.
